Dear Casey,
Ho!Ho!Ho! At the North Pole we are getting ready to have the best Christmas ever! Along with Mrs. Claus and my helpers, we were just checking over my list of good boys and girls in Illinois, and I just wanted to let you know how proud I am of you this year. On Christmas Eve I'll be stopping in Elk Grove Village and hope to have something special for you and Katie in my sleigh this year.
I know that you have accomplished some very special things this year like learning to recite your ABC's and counting to 20! Very good! I am so proud of you. Keep up the good work and remember to keep practicing those numbers. I'm sure you'll be able to count up to 50 by next Christmas.
Casey, I also know that you are very good at taking care of your hamster, Peter. He loves it when you feed him special treats. Speaking of treats, I am looking foward to snacking on sugar cookies and milk at your home this year. Delivering presents always makes me very hungry, and you always leave the best snacks for me and Rudolph.
Casey, I have many other good boys and girls to write, so I'll finish by reminding you that I'll be coming to town soon. So, remember to go to bed early on Christmas Eve, because I can't bring presents until you and Katie are fast asleep. I'll see you soon.
